I do not agree with the statement that all nations should have equal responsibility while dealing with global effects of climate change.
I have formed above opinion as I strongly believe that developed countries like UK (England) and America have more responsibility to control emission of harmful gases in the environment. These countries are already developed countries and can easily control emission of harmful gases in the environment and can control climate change. However, it is often seen that these countries are blaming developing countries like China, India and other developing countries for climate change and its adverse effects.
Developing countries are still in developing stage and it will not be possible for them to control or restrict the industrial growth by imposing several restrictions on emission of harmful gases, disposal of wastes, etc. However, I am not promoting the climate damage done by these countries but I would like to draw attention of developed countries to increase their role in cleaning the environment.
Here I would also like to appreciate the efforts taken by India and other developing countries to reward all those companies who are concerned for nature and cause least damage to nature. India rewards those companies through carbon credits which can be exchanged for money i.e. which can be sold by that company to any other company which is causing pollution in the environment.
If developing countries like India, China and many more will put restrictions on carbon emission, harmful gas emission, etc, then growth of their companies will definitely take a big setback and the population of these countries will continue to be unemployed, denied for basic amenities like food, shelter and clothes, education will be denied, etc.
With growth comes in the growth and development of people who are part of that country and thus I strongly believe that it will be very difficult for developing countries to put complete restrictions on emission of harmful gases, disposal of waste, etc. However, by rewarding eco-friendly companies which use bio-degradable forms of energy, environment friendly sources of power like solar and hydro and the wastes of which causes least damage to the environment (i.e. wastes are biodegradable), the developing countries can still play their part in controlling climate change and help in making earth a better place to live in.
