The purpose of this literature review is to present the most relevant and current research addressing factors that could contribute to the change of cockpit culture. For this, the aviation safety that has been practiced across the spectrum, the national culture and the local culture of the host country have been probed. The purpose of this research is to understand the socio-cultural dynamics of the Chinese culture and develop stronger safety regulations based on international mandates. This has been probed in detail in this research. From this, the vulnerabilities of the current safety regulations can be addressed.
