Gene therapy is the process by which the genetic material from one body is transferred to the other target cell with an objective to prevent a specific disease. There are several diseases which are aimed to be treated using this therapy. Various kinds of genes are now being introduced without the use of various kinds of vectors and techniques in vivo techniques without the use of gene transfer techniques therapy. Gene therapy basically uses DNA as a therapy to treat various kinds of information. In this technique, a DNA is used to encode for a therapeutic protein drug to counter a particular treatment.
In recent years, there had been several developments which had been done in the area of Gene Therapy. The procedure generally involves the use of a normal and a functional copy of a gene into a non-functional or a defective gene. Gene therapy generally involves the use of a corrective gene in the reproductive zygotes with the aim of creating genetic genes which are healthier in nature. These genes are then inherited by the individual in the upcoming generations and are widely used in treating the gene related diseases in the upcoming generations. The Gene therapy is used to treat several kinds of diseases in the modern world involving the Savant Syndrome and acupuncture of gastric functions and organs.
