This review is based on an exhibition of Anna Leonowence artworks and her Gallery. This gallery exhibition offers various students from NSCAD a chance to show their work of art in a public manner. This has taken place for the initial time at the gallery of Anna Leonowens. The gallery offered an essential and nurturing atmosphere wherein the galleries are an essential component of education of a student into living realities so as to reinvigorate the artist in them. The exhibition consisted of Galleries 1 to 4. Each gallery has been reviewed in this paper. The first gallery was “Fading Sculptors” by Roloff Beny and D’Arcy Way. The artist stated that landscape was paired as a photograph with installations. This was done with an intension of pushing the photography a step ahead. This step was related to three dimensional qualities for presentation of such a perspective which can only be viewed in a person. The strength of the image lies in what it documents. The image is such that it documents an ancient ever-changing sculpture of ice drifting along Newfoundland coast.

The strength further lies in the fact that it influences the viewer in terms of sculpture and sculptor as they lead towards creating newer landscapes in the long term. The second gallery was “Inner Peace” by Yang. The artist in her paintings explored self-discovery themes and the self-illusion. The strength of this gallery or artwork remained in illustrating the way in which the world is completed with temptations and reasoning. This temptation and reason come along with conflict in desires in turn leading towards prohibiting our individual self truly. The strength further lies in the way in which the art work uses multiple colours and persona’s to illustrate that courage is needed for everything one does. Most often people act in accordance to their mood, while at other times, it is based on their feelings. The image promotes the viewer to not be under false reality and not be its slave, as it is just an illusion. The artist through this photo promotes the world for its inner peace and ability. The weakness of this gallery was that it merged the figures and graphics together, causing the background to blur.
