Amusement Masters belongs to the Event Industry and as such is a highly competitive one. The United States analysis of this industry values the events industry at an average $6billion (IBISWorld, 2014). It provides employment to an approximate 352,699 people and there are more than 335,044 business organizations working with the events industry. The industry has much challenges however, as it is very much fragmented. The dedicated party and event planners only control as much as 1 percent of the industry, and most type of organizations have their separate unit for party and event planning. In this context the recession also made this a highly competitive one, as the people that held parties and more dropped from the normal rate. This led to consumers holding lesser events and the event industry also had to control prices giving the best they could at nominal costs. This industry holds more or less similar value, in the United Kingdom also. In the UK sector it is noted that the industry is valued at an approximate £58.4 billion to the UK’s gross domestic product (GDP). The industry also pays as much as £21.1billion in taxes (Hall and Ledger, 2013).
