  • Now, by heaven, My blood begins my safer guides to rule, And passion, having my best judgement collied, Assays to lead the way. If I once stir Or do but lift this arm, the best of you Shall sink in my rebuke” (II, iii, lines 203-8).

Conclusion

The plays of Othello are famous and his changes in behavior are highlighted in works of literature by Shakespeare. There are problems from the characters who envy with him and did not want to get into any relationship with him. Trust was one factor Othello, could never have on anyone and thereafter, he continues to tell his story to Desdemona who knows about all the ups and downs in his life.

However, a flurry of events in the form of Apple buying the very fashionable Beats earphones that were featured as part of the Marc Jacobs Spring 2015 Collection; the introduction of the Intel Smart bracelet made in collaboration with Opening Ceremony and launched at the New York fashion week to be distributed exclusively at Barney’s and Opening ceremony; and the stocking of Google Glass by Net-a-Porter, the prestigious fashion website at a price of 1250 GBP, has triggered a sudden upsurge in interest in wearable fashion technology products (Losse, 2014; Armstrong, 2014). Experts further estimate that the market for wearable fashion technology, which is still in its embryonic stage and is worth about $3 Billion in terms of overall global revenue, is likely to reach a size of $170 Billion by 2020 (Holmes, 2014; Van Someren, 2014). Therefore given this interest, it is fair to assume that wearable fashion technology products are perhaps going to continue to attract attention and perhaps occupy a significant portion of floor space in shopping malls over the next few years.

However, despite all the enthusiasm and euphoria surrounding the potential of wearable fashion technologies, other reports suggest that the excitement may be premature and that there are concerns with such technologies. For instance Google Glass, a wearable technology is essentially a mini computer fitted into eye wear allows users to access email; text messages; take pictures, record videos, and also access the Internet through voice commands, without having appearing as if one is doing anything other than keeping their eyes on the world (Gross 2014). Reports suggest that Google Glass, which was touted as being a cutting edge fashionable wearable technology, is failing two and a half years after its pilot launch (Metz 2014). Some reports suggest that one of the main issues with wearable technology fashion is that wearable technologies are also considered a cause for privacy concerns.

Binge drinking in early stages of life i.e. minimum before 15 years of age would result in negative effects among Australian adolescents.  As a short term negative outcomes it can result in violent behavior, unintentional accidents, reckless driving leads to physical injuries, higher rates of absenteeism from schools that results in poor academic performances, increased use of drugs leads to suicidal attempts and depression, negative sexual behaviors with sexual assault and unwanted pregnancies.  Childhood is the crucial period for brain development therefore at this age brain is susceptible for the damages caused due to higher alcohol consumption that can in long run permanently impair developments of the brain (Heerde, 2014).    Australian youth ageing between 18-24 years are more prone to binge drinking and that leads them at higher levels of short term risks in comparison to any other age group.

According to the most recent data collected on alcohol consumption states that about 2/3 among the age group of 18-24 years that admitted that they faced a situation of risk of injuries for at least once in the past one year. Binge drinking among youths had resulted in higher mortality rates and hospitalization due to unintentional injuries among Australian youths (Tobin, 2011). Binge drinking by youths had severe economic costs for the Australian community.  According to a study done on Australian youths for binge drinking resulted to an estimated costs of $15.3 billion incurred on efforts of Australian government for preventing youths from their severe damage (MacLean, 2014). On the contrary some researchers argue that the cost incurred on preventive efforts of binge drinking is much higher and is around $36 billion in 2011.  Some other additional costs incurred due to occasional drinking or weekend drinking was estimated about $15 billion and this was associated with the higher risks related to violence, accidents and injuries due to excessive consumption of alcohol.
