An analysis of the Utah Games was conducted and based on the analysis, some insights were gathered and recommendations are made. In terms of research objectives, the objective of understanding how customer satisfaction could turn into increased student registration at the University must have been analyzed for. Currently this aspect is missing. This is a research objective that would have highlighted how the Games increases student recruitment for Utah University. Secondly, the researchers have not conducted any form of qualitative or exploratory analysis, nor have even piloted out a survey. There is inadequate planning shown in data collection and although the strategy for data collection was beneficial, the way the data collection was done seems ad-hoc. From quota sampling, the researcher had to move on to convenience sampling. In terms of analysis, the use of statistical analysis such as the chi-square and more are not enough, it would be necessary to consider analysis in the form of qualitative methods also.

The Utah Summer Games was started with its office in the Southern Utah University. It was started for the purpose of conducting sporting events for young participants with the idea of motivating the participants and parents towards considering joining the University. The Utah Summer Games research report is used as the base for analysis. A research project was undertaken with respect to the Utah games as the Director of the games believes that they lack information on how the games are perceived by the participants and the parents. This information would be useful for improving the games organization for the future. The information would also be useful for ensuring the key objectives of the research are met. The research project will be assessed based on a series of questions. The research objectives, the adequacy of research method design, research method use, the data analysis and inferences are all considered in the assessments. Recommendations are then made to the sponsoring organization, by identification of what aspect of the research project has been done well or would require improvements in order for the sponsoring organization to make their future decisions better.
