I am currently pursuing my masters in International business in Australia and will finish the course in July this year. I want to be working in a large multinational in the next three years’ time. For this to happen, I will start working as a manager at the middle level in an organisation. I will start working at this level to understand the nuances of corporate employment and working in a professional environment and later with my upgrading of skills and knowledge I will climb the corporate ladder to higher position. Preferably, after three years’ time I want to be at a good level in a company, similar to an area head or an administration head of an organisation. I am planning to pursue a lot of multinationals from now on to keep an eye on the right company for me to join after my studies. There are substantial opportunities I the market place. In Australia alone, there are many multinationals that have set up base here and are looking for hiring good employees who would prove to an asset for their company. The manager level position is very widely available, but there is a lot of competition in the field for the same position. This will make a little difficult to get a well-paying and dignified job in the market. There are many companies in the market looking out for good managers but they will also scrutinize all available employees to fit their organisation and the position. Recruitment is a very important element of an organisation (Edenborough, 2007) and it will depend on my skills, knowledge, attitude, and communication which will support me to get the desired job. Since the position of a manager is ample, the requirement of the employee skills and knowledge will also be unique and demanding. Thus, I will have to prepare myself to get into a position where I get selected for a good position in a multinational organisation.
