Research gap
Majority of studies have remained focused on mainland China market of baby milk powder product. However with recent melamine milk scandal, there has been increased focus on purchasing the product from Hong Kong market, as people consider Hong Kong market to be trust worthy as compared to the mainland Chinese market. This increased demand has resulted into overstretching of the existing baby milk powder product and has ultimately resulted into shortage across the region. In such circumstances, it becomes essential to understand the consumer behaviour of Hong Kong, and the main reasons behind their decision making process. This will enable organisations to predict the future demand and accordingly they can increase the production output.
Chapter 2 –The Critical Review of the Relevant Literature
Focus of this dissertation is to review the consumer behaviour in Hong Kong related to baby milk powder product. In order to achieve the objective of the subject selected, approach selected is review of relevant literatures. Through review of relevant literature review, various aspects related to baby milk powder product will be analysed and reviewed.
