All new developments will offer a range of housing options for a diverse group of residents. The plan deals with Transforming Moreland from a largely single story landscape into a height restriction depending on the phase of development. Third strategic plan is to Support sustainable business district and activities. New business district will be developed in north Coburg. 5.8 % of the city of Moreland has a higher rate of unemployment and this varied across the city. The five areas with the highest population rates include glenroy (8.5%), Brunswick west (6.5%), fawkner (7.8%), Brunswick (7.4%) and Coburg north (5.8). so the region has decided to develop business hub to decrease the unemployment opportunities. Increase funding for industry collaboration, research and development commercialization. Increase labor productivity by providing worker training center or job opportunity center.
These plans will be implemented in three phases and will happen in various temporal scales
1. The phasing of new public transport infrastructure will be provided first priority and implemented soon.
2. Subsequent to that, the industry and jobs will be attracted to the area through rezoning, thus forming a key means by which this transportation will be funded.
3. Consequently this improved connectivity and job availability, coupled with a new mixed used zoning policy offers new hopes to the residences and they will move soon to this new revitalized, denser and accessible Moreland.
