 EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Employer-employee relations are one of the most tender and complicated problems of modern developed society. Labour management co-operation and industrialized harmony are the pillars of industrial progress. (Dyer, G. H., 1967, pp 1583-1587)Thus, it is of prime importance of creating and maintaining cordial relations between employees and employers. In the broader sense, employer-employee relations also comprise the relations between the different unions between the States. It also comprises the relationship between the employers and the Government. Associations of all these connected in industry can also be called employer- employee relations. This topic, hence, includes relations of individuals including joint consultation between the workers and the employers at the work place, combined relations between the employers, their organisations, union and the regulatory part of the State regulating these various relations. Employer-employee relations comprise the study of how people work together, the various difficulties that crop between them and how these regulations are regulated and also what role does the organisation play to protect their interests.
 CONCLUSION
The various activities of the real mangers are characterised by variety, brevity, discontinuity and fragmentation. But, yet there is very little agreement among the researchers regarding the nature of the work of managers. The primary reasons that have been identified being the job of managers are complex, variable and unprogrammed. It also involves a lot of ordering and co-ordination which also tests the ability of the managers to adapt and work across cultural, technical and functional boundaries.
The other very primary aspect of managerial research is the tender relationship between the employer and the employees. The International Labour Organisation (ILO) describes this relation as the relationships between the State and the employers’ and the organisations of the employees. It also covers the relationship among the occupational organisations. The ILO uses this term to signify such matters as liberty of union and the security of the right to arrange, the right of combined bargaining, joint agreements, re-conciliation and negotiation and the equipment for collaboration between the authorities and the industrial organisations at different levels of economy.
