The recommendations that are drawn in the following is to improve the service design and over the resource constraints. This can be derived from comparative analysis of the queuing structures of Heartlands and nearby hospital. The recommendations have been detailed in the following:
Creation of an eclectic queuing structure requires the elements of the single line queues. A more robust queue is needed and the consumer visibility needs to be shown in a better light. There could be some separate waiting areas and the clinic entrances thereafter. These are evident in the tourist agency (Marinković et al., 2013).
The next factor is improving the visibility of the available resources. The consumers are made to feel that their needs are not met initially owing to parking (Lai, 2014). A more dynamic parking system needs to be created stems from the consumer traffic into the system).
More cultural sensitivity needs to be provided to increase consumer patronage (Ha and Janda, 2016)
A constant revaluation of the services that are rendered needs to be developed.
The limitation of this research is that the employees of the company were not interviewed. They need to be interviewed and their feedback needs to be collated. They can have better ideas of the queuing system and they need to be listened (Kuo et al., 2013)
Finally, more resources are needed by the company. This needs to be developed by the company to address the needs of the consumers. Innovative service design and payment needs to be incorporated to improve the resources. It is evident that the staffs are overworked and are made to work with limited resources. By bringing more resources, there can be improvement in all the process.
These are some of the recommendations that the company can bring in to develop an overall improvement.
