This aggregate expenditure determines the total amount that households and firms plan to spend on goods and services at each level of income. The economy is considered at equilibrium when the aggregate expenditure is equal to the aggregate supply (production) in the economy. No country’s economy is always equilibrium and hence all the components of aggregate supply and aggregate expenditure adjust to each other to maintain the macroeconomic equilibrium in the economy (Parry et al., 2009).If in any circumstances, there is excess supply over the expenditure, then in such case there is reduction in either the quantity of the output or prices reduces the total output of the economy or say as gross domestic product (GDP) of the country’s economy. On the other side, if there is excess in expenditure over supply, it will lead to excess demand and finally lead to increase in price output or increase in gross domestic price (GDP). This theory overall predicts that a rise in the aggregate expenditure pushes the country’s economy towards a higher equilibrium and leads to the higher potential of gross domestic product (GDP) growth of the country.
The higher growth of the GDP and Australia’s economy will lead to various growth in the country and finally the country’s overall growth in terms of better education, health, transportation, finance, technology, industries, research, security and more (Parry et al., 2009).Aggregator expenditure has its high impact on the growth of gross domestic product (GDP) for any country with impact on the country’s economy as well. In order to understand the impact of aggregator expenditure on Australian economy and GDP, various factors data have been derived from Australian Bureau of Statistics website. GDP growth of Australia is affected with various factors, such as aggregator expenditure, regulations, foreign direct investment, skilled labor, average household spending, taxations by the individuals or firms and more factors (Australian bureau of statistics, 2016). The aggregate expenditure has various factors that impact the gross domestic product growth of Australia.
