I visited the High court of Australia later. The court looked prominent in its external design resembling a modern development attracting a lot of people’s attention. The reflection of the building gave a feeling of prosperity to the onlookers. The feeling of pride was most visible in people either working inside the court or visiting the court. The foyer had a list of judges hearing special cases in their respective rooms. The effect of the high court is profound on its citizens. The court’s outside and inside ambience gave a feeling of uniqueness and togetherness, as if it is proposing a single identity of people. The mannerism of people taking in the premises was exceptional. The court rooms varied in their looks with some being traditional and others being more modern with advanced technological enhancements. This resembles to the observance of Johnston and Mcgovern, who did identity that Australian courts did start to have television camera access inside the court. There is a stark difference of people’s behaviour and the perception between the Local and High court.

I visited one of the court rooms and saw a case being discussed by attorneys. The room was filled with people relevant to the case, the witnesses, the plaintiff, and the defendants.
