In this section various theories like Neo classical theory, dual market theory and other theories related to international relations will be discussed. In US immigrants are one of the largest sectors that constitute of a major political and civic force in the country. This community has not only worked on the development of the economy of the country but other aspects also. Getting legal status is important in the development of political participation of the immigrants in the country. Various reasons are present for explaining the importance of legal status. Immigrants that do not have the legal status are not allocated by many resources and opportunities that are provided to the citizens of the country.
Citizenship not the only form of political participation
Discussing about the situation of US the immigrants in the country that have gained level in the country like they have gained the citizenship have many rights. The form of political participation is in the form of election and this can be noted by the participation of the Hispanic group and Asian group. The future accounts for positivity as the new Hispanic center in the country accounts for 40% in the overall growth of the country. According to statistics 40 million Hispanics will take part in the election and this share indicates the political participation of this group. This is not the only form of political participation as many immigrants that have not gained the citizenship have been a part of the political participation.
Discussing about different theories of international relations it can be notified that the immigrants living in the country are putting their efforts in increasing the economy of the country and they have an equal share in the economy just like the individuals who have gained citizenship. In neo classical theory it suggests that the supply and demand of an individual wisdom is to maximize the profit. The implication of this theory on immigrants can be seen and demand and supply of the resources can be checked by the level of resources (Marrow, 34).
