The author of the book provides various techniques and daily life examples on how to succeed in winning people’s hearts. Various chapters of the book consist of how to deal with people, how to influence people so that they can agree with you. The preface of the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” states comprehensive ideas and suggestions that helps people to successfully get along with people. It consists of five core sections based on similar principles of motivation and leadership. The book stresses on the implementation of ethical, respectful relationships with each other by motivation and appreciation (Dale Carnegie & Save Time Summaries, 2014).
This section of my review consists of the critical analysis of the book while discussing its various attributes and application to daily life dilemmas. Some of the assumptions made by Dale Carrneige are challenged and majority of them are supported. The book tends to motivate every individual to become an inspirational leader while being humble and flexible in relationships and communication. Different analysis and proposals can be made by the readers but my point of views is stated below for the research purpose.
The author also emphasizes brilliant leadership skills that help the overall organization to work out effectively on achieving its goal. By understanding the employees and their behaviors the organization culture improves with the passage of time. An inspirational leader with having strong skills of communicating, understanding and blending with his team empowers the overall organization (Training, 2014). Having the capability of changing people’s point of views consist of a great power. As we can’t rule over people by a war but surely by winning hearts and this is what Dale Carrneige states in the book.
