Attitude differences – The occurrence of personality conflicts is also directly associated with the attitude of an individual. A negative attitude within an employee can be considered due to the level of irritability, arrogance, and cynicism. This negative attitude either within the new employee or other exiting employees can greatly affect the effective communication in between them. It is a well known fact that no individual prefers to be around negative persons and an optimistic or naturally upbeat kind of person may have difficulty while interacting with an individual having negative attitude (Jehn & Mannix 2011). It has been found that some of the employees constantly look for flaws or complain whereas other focus on finding the solutions, thus making collaboration and cooperation extremely difficult for each of the parties.
