The system design document is the document that elucidates all the systemic procedures adopted by the company. Each process activity of the system is completely defined in this document. This has the details of all the systemic functions. This document has the details of the architectural stages of the system. The data management, access of control, accesses provided by the company to various entities is all mentioned in the SDD document. The data that is stored is accessed via the virtual machine. It is a live system file that is subjected to continuous changes as the needs of the corporation changes for each level of its operation. The System design documents are necessary for developer and tester to understand the architectural specs of the modules of the project. Three modules are identified from the previous SRS, these are the 1) Train Tracking System, 2) the detector system and 3) the Rail Network Management system. For each of these modules an abstract architecture with inputs and outputs are specified in this section.
The train tracking system will obtain the output from the detector system. It will make enquiry on the train positioning and will also obtain information on the different zones. Yet another input for the system is that of the enquiry from Rail network management
Expected Conversion Function:
The functioning of this system is to make enquiry on the train positions to the detector system. It will process the enquiry that it receives from the rail network management system
It passes on as output information the results of the enquiry of the rail network management system
