This case is about the pathetic judgment taken place in NSW when Justice Campbell belonging to NSW’s Supreme Court handed a judgment regarding the manslaughter case of Thomas Kelly which was carried out on Friday, 8thof November (Campbell, Thomas2011)
The matter is, however, under appeal once the intervention has been done by the Attorney General named Greg Smith. This has discredited Justice Campbell’s credibility and he is being questioned by many as to how he even got appointed as a judge in the court.
Part A
The final decision regarding the offender being convicted and sentences was sentence of four months prison for assaulting Matthew Serrao. There was a fixed term imprisonment involving four months for the assault of RhyseSaliba. There was also six month punishment regarding the sentence of Marco Compagnoni. For the manslaughter of Thomas Kelly, there was a non-parole period of 4 years of punishment, having the total effect of sentence being 7 years and 2 months (Quilter, Julia. 2014).
Part B
The family of the Thomas Kelly were also a part of the media report where they drew attention to the problems in Sydney regarding the alcohol fuel levels and specifically in the Kings Cross area.
