• Longer Working Shifts and hours: – Secondly, employees usually tent to find the working hours and shift longer than the regular or normal conditions, in case of hotels, restraints etc employees have to work on Sundays as well also in case of events or parties they may have to give more time which employees usually don’t like thus they leave jobs and increases turnover.
• Influence of peers: – As employs tend to give lesser time to their family, friends etc, thus they influence the employees thinking process and it is sometimes due to their pressure that employees tend to leave there jobs.
• Seasonality of demand: – More or less hospitality sector have high demand for the labor and human resources for seasons like holiday seasons, marriage seasons etc, thus organization like hotels, clubs etc., does not give much importance to HRM and issues related to it and only look at employees performance thus employees feel neglected and hence they leave the organization.
• Goodwill of the organization is effected:- As turnover of an organization resizes employees become aware of joining the particular organization, also due to the spread of word of mouth and other means candidates come to know about the high level of turnover in an organization which may be in hospitality business in this case, thus the goodwill of the organization reduces and hence people may not be interested in working for the organization and thus manpower problems may persist and even become deeper for such organization.
