The first of them is the Hyatt Loyalty plan for customer. The Hyatt Gold Passport program has cropped up issue of points transference and bad customer service. Secondly Hyatt was caught up with employee related issues in 2012 in its US segment (Barron, 2012). Although this was only the US segment, there was bad publicity generated that led to many cancellations with Hyatt internationally. The most recent concern that Hyatt has been caught up with is that of an Australian Christian Lobby ACL conference that was scheduled to take place in October 2014. The Gay community raised many concerns as the ACL event raised issues targeting the community (Busy, 2014). Hyatt does not discriminate against guests and hence had to face pressure from either ends. This was a matter of ethical and moral issues in service for Hyatt. The hospitality industry should exercise discrimination against its employees and its clients, based on sex, age, religion, beliefs and more (Yeung, 2004).
